Tranen is able to undertake various types of surveys required for a wide range of purposes, including rehabilitation, revegetation, and weed management plans, as well as for monitoring and compliance reporting and project scheduling.

The most common surveys that we do, either alone or in combination, depending on the project requirements are:
• flora, where we identify the native species present;
• condition, where we assess the overall condition of a site and/or the native vegetation to identify constraints and opportunities;
• weed, where we identify the weed species present, their abundance, sources, and potential to develop an effective control strategy; and
• seed, where we assess the potential to collect native seed from a site, based on plant densities and annual seed productivity rates.
