  Wildflower Society

The Wildflower Society of Western Australia was founded in March 1958 to promote the propagation understanding and conservation of Western Australian wildflowers. Our aspirations are the same today. We express them through the stated aim: 'To know, grow, conserve and enjoy our native flora.'

With more than 1000 members, we are dedicated to protecting the bushland so that this natural heritage can be enjoyed by many future generations. The Society's activities are devoted to understanding the flora in all its aspects; sharing information on how to recognise the plants; and the communities in which they naturally occur in bushland; and to propagating and growing the various species. We place a strong emphasis on knowing and protecting our bushland plants.
